Our All-Road package is geared toward today’s highly capable crossover SUVs and all-wheel-drive vehicles. With up to 17-inches of maximum ground clearance*, the All-Road package available for your Timberleaf Teardrop Trailer will help to smooth out the road ahead; be they washboarded dirt roads or old asphalt, the All-Road package is built to perform. Available as an upgrade option for all three of our trailer models, the All-Road package adds an inch of ground clearance over that of the Standard suspension package, with rugged tires and suspension for the long haul.
Featuring Timbren’s Heavy Duty Axle-Less independent suspension, the heavy duty suspension features 3,500-pound capacity springs and 5,200-pound capacity hubs, the All-Road package also gains an upgrade in tire selection from the Standard with 30-inch light-truck all terrain tires for rugged dependability on or off highway. Covering the larger all terrain tires are our custom made diamond plate Jeep-style fenders. These heavy duty fenders feature a flat top surface, strong enough to stand on, but serve double-duty for additional work surface in camp.
When your travels have you turning off of the smooth pavement onto winding dirt roads, a traditional ball coupler may present a significant limitation in the trailer’s ability to follow the ground safely and securely. We exclusively employ the Max-Coupler Articulating Hitch to join the trailer and tow vehicle, this rattle-free hitch features uninhibited rotation for zero binding on tight dips and twists that you may encounter on back roads.
Each of our trailers is built upon an over-built fully-welded steel frame, similarly constructed to 7,000-pound utility trailers. While this adds a little bit of weight over a lighter steel frame, it provides us with a rock-solid foundation upon which to build our trailers. What this means for you is a purpose-built trailer ready for the roughest of roads, reliably constructed for many years to come.
